The Journal of Human Police Policing Human (Pty) Ltd is officially live. We are proud to be Africa’s open-access, community-rooted, justice-focused research platform. Our goal is to publish peer-reviewed work, lived experiences, creative pieces, and data from across the continent — all centred on public safety, criminal justice, and social equity.

This is more than a journal. It is a platform for truth, reform, and pan-African solidarity. All African voices — academics, practitioners, community members, youth — are welcome.

Submissions are open for research articles, reports, stories, opinion pieces, and data visualizations. We accept work in any official African language, and all accepted content is freely accessible to the public.

We are currently recruiting Country Editors, Youth Contributors, and Peer Reviewers.
