This document outlines the foundational principles, submission guidelines, and editorial commitments of The Journal of Human Police Policing Human (Pty) Ltd. As an independent, open-access platform, the journal promotes inclusive and community-centred scholarship on policing, justice, and social transformation. It accepts a diverse range of submissions—including academic research, lived experience narratives, creative works, policy analysis, and data visualizations—across 14 thematic categories. The journal employs flexible peer review models tailored to the nature of each submission, upholding rigorous ethical standards, accessibility, and public accountability. Detailed formatting, referencing, and review timelines are provided to guide contributors.
